August 7, 1957 at County Stadium
Braves 12, Reds 2 (64-42)
The Braves piled on the runs in their third straight win behind some outstanding hitting by Wes Covington. He homered twice, drew a walk, drove in four and scored four as he was a one man wrecking crew at the plate. Red Schoendienst also had a nice game and he went three for six with three RBIs and a run.
Gene Conley cruised to an easy win with all of the run support and he improved to 7-5 on the season. He gave up two runs on seven hits and five walks with four strikeouts in the complete game win.
