Braves 5, Giants 1 (10-2)
The Brewers rallied for four runs in the tenth inning to beat the Giants 5-1. Warren Spahn was great in his ten inning start. He didn’t give up a run until the ninth and he gave up just eight hits and four walks with four strikeouts to improve to a perfect 4-0.
Frank Torre and Bobby Thomson hit back to back homers in the tenth in the 5-1 win. Danny O’Connell went two for four with a run.
