Warren Spahn was virtually unhittable as he held the Cubs to a single run on four hits. He gave up only one walk and he struck out five.
Johnny Logan had the big hit for the Braves. He hit a two run homerun in the sixth inning. Hank Aaron had two hits and a run while Eddie Mathews tripled, scored and drove in a run. All four Braves’ runs were scored in the sixth inning.
