On Friday night, the Braves bats were going and Jorge Campillo got his seventh win of the season as the Braves took the second game of the series 11-6. Chipper Jones capped off the win with a two-run homer in the Ninth after Martin Prado led the way with three RBIs on a triple and two doubles. Campillo went 6.1 innings allowing five runs on eight hits while striking out five and walking none. The Diamondbacks managed a run here and there taking the lead in the First 1-0, but they would lose the lead and to never recover it as the Braves came alive. Yesterday, the Braves won the third game of the series making it possible for a four-game sweep with a win today. The Braves took the lead early with a two-run homer in the First by Brian McCann and Jair Jurrjens came through on the mound with a solid outing of six innings to lead the Braves to an 11-4 victory. Jurrjens allowed four runs on six hits with three of them earned while striking out six and walking two and McCann went 2 for 5 with 4 RBIs. Chipper Jones had an RBI and is now batting .370 with Yunel Escobar and Kelly Johnson each recording two RBIs on the day. Today Mike Hampton will be taking the mound after just recording his first win in three years in the Major League in his last start. Hampton (1-0) will be battling Brandon Webb (16-4) for the win today.
