Braves 2, Reds 1 (94-58)
Lew Burdette did a nice job on the mound in his final tune up start before the World Series. He improved to 17-9 and he gave up one run on four hits and two walks with four strikeouts in the complete game win.
The Braves scored both of their runs via the long ball. Andy Pafko put the Braves on the board in the fifth inning with a solo homer and then Del Crandall gave the Braves their second run of the inning with a solo shot of his own. Hank Aaron was the only Brave to reach base twice with a double and a walk.
