The Braves continued their great start with a solid mix of hitting and pitching. Lew Burdette benefitted from five runs and he picked up his second win of the season. He went the distance and gave up four runs on ten hits and four walks with four strikeouts.
Hank Aaron hit his fourth homerun of the season and Joe Adcock hit his fifth. Johnny Logan also had a good game with two hits and two runs.
