Hank Aaron, Red Schoendienst Score Three Runs Each In Braves Blowout Win

Braves 10, Phillies 3  (49-37)

The Braves hitters got it going as they took care of the Phillies for the second straight game.  Red Schoendienst and Hank Aaron each had three hits three runs a piece while Joe Torre went four for four with a walk, two runs and two RBIs.

Lew Burdette improved to 8-6 with a solid start.  He gave up three runs on eight hits and one walk with two strikeouts in 5 1/3 innings.  Don McMahon gave up two hits and two walks and he struck out three in 3 2/3 innings of shutout relief to pick up his third save of the season.
