Braves 10, Dodgers 7 (13-3)
Hank Aaron had another big game for the Braves as they topped the Dodgers in a high scoring game. He went four for five with his sixth homerun. He drove in three runs and scored four times. Hitting just ahead of him, Danny O’Connell also had a nice game. He went three for six with two runs and an RBI.
Bob Buhl was shelled in his start and he gave up five runs and he didn’t even get out of the first inning. Fortunately the pen and the hitters picked him up and Ernie Johnson picked up the win with six innings of one hit shutout ball.
