Braves 6, Pirates 5 (18-9)
Hank Aaron pretty much put the Braves on his back and won this one by himself. He went three four four with two homeruns, four RBIs and three runs. Chuck Tanner also had a nice day at the plate. He went two for two and he drove in a run.
Warren Spahn was hit hard again and he gave up four runs in four innings. Lew Burdette held the Pirates in check in the final five frames and he picked up the win. He gave up one run on four hits and he struck out three.
