Hank Aaron Finishes With Five Hits In Braves Ten Inning Win

Lew Burdette gave up three ninth inning runs to blow a three run lead but he still picked up the win because the Braves rallied for three runs in the tenth to win it.  Burdette improved to 3-1 and he gave up five runs on eleven hits and two walks with one strikeout in nine innings.  Red Murff picked up the save with a shutout tenth.

Hank Aaron had a big day at the plate.  He went five for six with two runs.  Eddie Mathews drove in three runs and Danny O’Connell went three for six with a homerun, two RBIs and three runs.
