Gene Conley Throws Four Hit Shutout In Braves Fifth Straight Win

Braves 1, Dodgers 0  (61-41)

The Braves won their fifth game as Gene Conley got the better end of a pitcher’s duel with the Dodgers.  He gave up just four hits and five walks with three strikeouts in the complete game shutout.

Johnny Logan was three for three and he scored the lone run.  Conley helped out his own cause with a single and an RBI.
