Braves 13, Dodgers 7 (75-46)
The Braves won their rubber game over the Dodgers in grand fashion as they turned on the offense in a blow out. Felix Mantilla was the hitting star and he went three for five with a homerun, four RBIs and three runs. Andy Pafko homered and drove in three while Hank Aaron and Nippy Jones both went yard in the game. For Aaron, it was his 37th homerun of the season.
Lew Burdette picked up his second win in three days and he improved to 13-7. He threw 2 2/3 innings of shutout relief. Ernie Johnson was shelled for five runs in three innings of relief and Bob Trowbridge gave up two runs in 3 1/3 innings in his start.
