July 14, 1957 at Ebbets Field
Dodgers 3, Braves 2 (47-36)
The Braves took a 2-1 lead in the top of the ninth only to see it disappear when Bob Buhl gave up a two run shot in the bottom of the ninth as he dropped his fourth straigth decision. He gave up three runs on six hits and five walks with five strikeouts in eight innings of work.
Joe Torre went three for four in the loss. Red Schoendienst provided half of the Braves offense with a solo homer, his tenth of the season.
