In the second game of yesterday’s double-header, the Braves won 8-1 against the Pirates. In the Fifth inning, the Braves rallied for four runs including a three-run homer from catcher Brian McCann. McCann wasn’t alone on offense though as centerfielder Mark Kotsay went 3 for 5 with 3 RBIs and outfielder Jeff Francouer went 3 for 5 with two runs. Atlanta combined for a total of 14. Starter Tim Hudson lasted seven innings giving up one unearned run on just two hits. Hudson had five strikeouts and improved to 6-2. Tonight the Braves are on the road again in Philadelphia taking on the Phillies with Jo-Jo Reyes on the mound.
