Braves Baseball Blog

In his latest Future Shock, prospect guru Kevin Goldstein runs down the Braves top prospects.  He puts nobody in the “excellent prospect” category but lists ten “very good prospects.”  At the top of the list is catcher Jarrod Saltalamacchia.  He’s only 21 and he had a servicable season in Double A.  Of course the problem is that Brian McCann is in the way so there’s a pretty good chance Saltamacchia could be trade bait.  Matt Harrison, the big left hander, was second on the list.
