Glavine recorded his second win of the season after starting the season struggling for a win. In the second game of the doubleheader, Jorge Campillo in just his second career start earned the win going six innings allowing three hits and striking out seven. The rookie showed veteran qualities in his performance of 54 strikes on 78 pitches, thus giving the boost the Braves needed to win the game 6-2. At the plate, Chipper Jones hit 2 for 4 with an RBI single in the first. Mark Kotsay hit his fourth homer of the season in the Eighth with one on and one out. Yunel Escobar went 5 for 9 in the doubleheader. The doubleheader victories marked the first doubleheader sweep for Atlanta since 2005. Tonight, the Braves will look to take on the Mets with Jair Jurrjens (4-3) on the mound for the start against Mike Pelfrey (2-4).
