I haven’t been able to find the details on the signing but Steve Colyer signed a minor league deal with the Braves.  Colyer is a lefty but he hasn’t pitched at the major league level since 2004.  He spent most of his time last year in Colorado Springs (Rockies Triple A affiliate) and had a pretty tough year, but arguably, it’s a hitter ball park (and league for that matter).

This is the type of signing that could bear fruit if Leo Mazzone were still around.  I could see him doing something with a guy like this, maybe turning him into a servicable LOOGY.
