Braves 13, Cardinals 2 (66-42)
The Braves extended their winning streak to five games and their lead in the National League to three games with a blowout over the second place Cardinals. Four different Braves went yard including Hank Aaron who hit his 32nd homer. Eddie Mathews hit his 21st and Wes Covington and Bob Mazle both went yard as well. For Mazle, it was his first career homer.
Bob Buhl improved to 15-6 with a solid start. He gave up two runs on nine hits and eight walks with six strikeouts in the complete game win.
