Dodgers 3, Braves 2 (17-8)
The Braves were held to two runs on just two hits in a ten inning loss to the Dodgers. Frank Torre doubled home both runs in the sixth inning off of Don Drysdale and that’s all the Cards would get the entire game.
Gene Conley got the start and he gave up two runs in 7 1/3 innings. Lew Burdette threw the final 2 2/3 innings and he gave up the losing run in the tenth.
