After having success in Triple A ball, Chuck James was brought back to the Majors for his first start since May on Friday night. James allowed six runs in 2 2/3 innings, and the Braves were never able to recover losing the first game 9-0. The Braves managed to comvine for five hits on the day. Yesterday afternoon, the Braves lost 4-2 in the second game of the series in a duel between CC Sabathia of the Brewers and Charlie Morton of the Braves. Morton held the Brewers to just one single in six inning but then in the Seventh, Prince Fielder drove Morton’s first pitch of the inning over the wall for his first homer of a two-homer night; his second came in the Eight off Rafael Soriano. Casey Kotchman and Kelly Johnson each drove in a Braves run. Today in the last game of the series the Braves are looking to block the sweep with Jorge Campillo facing off against Ben Sheets of the Brewers. In other news, Chipper Jones will soon retrun from the DL but Tim Hudson has opted to have Tommy John right elbow surgery reconstruction which will end his season.
