The Braves ended their three game skid as they finally got their bats going in a nice offensive display.,  Del Rice hit his eighth homer of the season and he drove in two runs while Johnny Logan had a team high three hits and he scored twice in the win.

Bob Buhl picked up win number 17 with a nice start.  He gave up one unearned run on eight hits and five walks with six strikeouts in the complete game win.
