After a two hour rain delay, the Braves took an early lead in the First 2-0, and then in the Fourth went to 5-0 with back to back home runs from Kelly Johnson and Omar Infante, but the bullpen would soon surrender 12 runs and the Braves would 12-10. In the bottom of the First, Brian McCann tagged out Chase Utley at home to protect the lead, but later in the Sixth in another collision at home, McCann would suffer a headache and mild concussion forcing him to leave the game. After 1 2/3 scoreless innings from Jorge Campillo, he was forced to leave early due to the rain delay and entered Jo-Jo Reyes who will not be making his schedule start today. Reyes was solid until the Fourth when he gave up a two-run homer to Chris Coste and a three-run homer to Shane Victorino to tie the game at 5. The Braves would rally for five runs in the Eighth but it wouldn’t be enough as the Phillies held on for the 12-10 win. Tonight the Braves start a four-game series against the Cardinals at Turner Field with Charlie Morton (2-3) taking on Braden Looper (9-8).
