The Braves slide continued as they lost their third straight game and they lost for the sixth time in seven games. Bob Trowbridge took the loss and he fell to 2-1 on the season. He gave up three runs on three hits and three walks with two strikeouts in four innings of work.
Frank Torre went two for four. Carl Sawatski singled, drove in a run and scored.
